Ingredients
1 cup tender jackfruit, steamed for 10–15 minutes and mashed
1 tbsp oil
½ cup finely chopped onion
½ dessert spoon sliced green chilli
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp pepper powder
1 dsp chopped mint leaves
2 cups cooked, minced meat
1 cup boiled, mashed potato
1 egg yolk
½ cup meat stock
1 egg white (for coating)
Breadcrumbs (for coating)
Oil for shallow frying
Preparation
Sauté onion and green chilli in oil
Add minced meat and stock, simmer
Stir in ground spices, jackfruit, mint, mashed potato, and egg yolk
Cook until the mixture is dry, well-blended, and no longer sticky
Mix into a thick dough. Shape into 12–14 cutlets
Dip in beaten egg white, coat with breadcrumbs, and shallow-fry on medium heat until golden.
